Sing About Your Senses!

In my never-ending search for homeschooling resources, I have come across a resource that I just have to share with everyone! For both homeschoolers who have a deep and abiding love for science (like me!!) and those who haven't got the first clue where to start, Science With Me! is a fantastic resource!

With animations, worksheets, a few games, and even step-by-step science experiments, Science With Me! has all you need to get a good start on science with your yougnin's.

We have a couple of personal favourites here at "Reid Central"- Little Lady is quite fond of the Five Senses animation, and who wouldn't be with the catchy tune and lyrics! Mommy's favourite is the "Stanley the Skeleton", the story of a skeleton boy who doesn't get to go out for Halloween because the other children are afraid of him. Stanley gets the bright idea that if he goes to the school and teaches the children about his bones (and theirs) it will show them that they are really alike and can be friends! It has the double whammy of teaching the location of the bones and I always love it when I find something on a children's site that teaches me something! Do you know where the coccyx is?? If not, just jump over to Science With Me! and find out!
